We have lots of Shoots and microgreens available this week and the lettuce seems to be doing well again for the moment.

I’m not bringing in outside stuff this week, we might have a little corn or cucumbers left over from last but they may be getting a little old. If you really want me to bring in the outside stuff you will have to let me know ahead of time so I can make the arrangements to go pick up. Currently the timing doesn’t seem to work out that well and I don’t want to pick up extra just in case and not have it get sold.

Still time to order online

Ok so my first Buy IN trial wasn’t the raging success I had hoped for but we did get a few things. I have divided up some of the larger packages into more manageable sizes if anyone wants to order them for this week I have adjusted the listings for the baby spinach and super mix.

I am working on an arrangement to hopefully be able to pick up some additional local produce weekly. So I will probably open the market on Fridays but will need the orders for those products in By Sunday Night since those orders get placed first thing Monday for pick up Tuesday. This is an arrangement where a local person saw a need in his neighborhood for local produce delivery as well as the challenge farmers were having trying to sell their produce. So he stared calling up local farmers and making arrangements to buy their produce and he is delivering it as weekly produce boxes to people who live near him. Aquaponic Lynx LLC is one of the farms he called and we are selling produce to him and well, I’m buying some of the produce he picks up at the other farms to sell to any of you. Only challenge is the timing.

What Should I order IN

Hi All, We are heading into the Hot season and many of my crops tend to give up soon. So I am looking for supplemental produce to bring in to offer through the Market during the Hot Season. And well, I will probably also want to supplement the market with some of the things that I’m Not growing and haven’t been able to get another local farm to offer on the market.

So, Please see this e-mail as an opportunity to let me know what you would like to see me get and also let me know what is of utmost importance.
Like, Are you mostly interested in just getting more produce out of your order from the farm? Or is it important that it be organic and/or local?

Just to let you know, I have not yet found an organic distributor to order from, but I’m still looking (I will make the listings show where I am sourcing things and share what info I can about it.) Right now I’m looking at suppliers that usually distribute to Restaurant customers. I will be making a trip out this coming week to check some of them out.

I could probably also include some meat, eggs and dairy as well (In addition to the Raw Cow milk already available.)

So Please let me know what you think you would definitely buy if I had it available (even share the price point you would pay so I can see if I can get it for that) and I can bring some in. I will be having to pay up front for anything and cash flow is tight lately so I don’t want to bring in a lot of stuff if people won’t be buying it.

Lettuce is already starting to dwindle, seems early in the season this year but it was really hot there for a while. We still have a huge amount of Kale but that won’t last either so get it now while you can and freeze up a bunch for summer smoothies.
