Local Produce for Inland Central Florida. We don’t ship produce (But talk to us, we might be able to deliver if you are close,) This is for LOCAL Produce. Aquaponic Lynx LLC grows vegetables and fish Aquaponically as well as selling aquaponic equipment and raising Meat/weed eater Goats.

We are currently seeking additional growers and customers, please feel free to sign up for an account. Fees for growers is 10% of total sales to cover costs of operating the market. Fees for customers is only $25 for the year per household and you can make your first two purchases as a trial before paying the fee.

Ordering window is Monday Afternoon through Thursday Morning and pick up will be Friday-Sunday by appointment until we expand more, Please indicate when you would like to pick up when you place your order. I am open to changing this schedule to meet the needs of the majority of people who participate. Please feel free to share your suggestions with me.

Great For Germination Kits, Self Watering Planters, and Rain Gutter Grow Systems Long Lasting, Won't Rot, no small tubing to clog, and washable Great for Vacation Plant Watering systems 3 foot by 4 foot by 1/16th inch thick, Easily cut to desired size Made in The USA Capillary Matting, also known as wicking fabric or spreader mat can evenly dispense moisture to the bottoms of plant containers that rest on it. This can be a terrifically easy way to keep seed starting media properly moist while the seeds germinate and until it is time to plant them out. All one needs is a water proof surface to place the wicking fabric on and a container of water that is a little bit lower than the surface the capillary matting is on. For example, one might cover a counter top with plastic to protect it and then spread out a piece of pre-moistened wicking fabric on it, hanging one edge down into the sink. Fill the sink with water and place your seeds on it and they will stay moist as long as there is enough water in the sink to be wicked up by the fabric (the capillary matting must be touching the water.) I don’t expect the matting to wick up much more than a few inches. I have been using it to lift water from a rain gutter up through a slit in a plant saucer sitting on top of the gutter with a fabric pot sitting on top of the matting and that has been keeping the pot moist enough that I have not been otherwise watering the pots beyond what rain falls (aka Rain Gutter Grow System.) Do not just place a container of water next to the fabric on the counter top and lift an edge of the spreader mat up into it. Gravity would cause the spreader mat to siphon the higher container dry and the capillary matting would not be able to hold all the water so it would likely leak off the plastic and then leave the plants to dry out once the water held in the spreader mat was used up. I’ve tried this and it is amazing how well the capillary matting does at siphoning but this doesn’t really help keep the plants watered. The capillary mat can even be used in a bath to keep plants watered during a vacation. Wet the capillary matting and then spread out on the bottom of the tub. Place plants and then set the tap so it just drips on the matting.

Large, succulent leaves have a strong oregano flavor and can be used in place of Greek oregano, or as a substitute for sage. Use fresh in salads, vegetables, stuffing, meat, fish, and salsas. I have even heard of slicing them in strips for use in sandwiches! This is a tropical herb, and the thick leaves will keep about a week on the kitchen counter in a sealed container at room temperature, but refrigeration causes discoloration. Assorted varieties of Green curly or crinkly Kale. Super food Kale is great in salad, cooked, or made into Kale chips. We use lots of our Kale in blended smoothies. Easy way to handle kale for use in smoothies is to wash the kale and then shake off excess moisture then place in a freezer bag in the freezer, then when it is time to use in the smoothie you simply bash the bag on the counter and then scoop out a hand full of the kale to place in the blender. Lufa cleaning sponges

These are 5-7 inch pieces of sponges that are "less pretty" than the bath sponges. These are perfect for scrubbing pots and dishes or washing your car or any other cleaning projects around the house. This is what is left over because I do not wish to use bleach in the processing of the sponges but they are still perfectly useful. Grown right here at my home in Florida. Yes grown, Lufa is a vine similar to a cucumber but much bigger. The fruit become quite large and if allowed to mature and dry on the vine,they can be pealed to become the nice plant fiber sponges so great for use in the bath or to wash dishes and scrub pots without worry of scratching the non stick surface. These plants are grown chemical free, some in soil and some in Aquaponics. Sponges are pealed and washed in plain water to remove plant juices and most seeds then dried in the sun. No bleach is used so color will vary. Sponges may contain a few free seeds. If you wish to grow your own, provide a strong trellis, these vines are able to grow to the top of trees in our long hot summers. Small fruits are edible.
